CHRISTENDOM
Players are immersed in the color and pageantry of the Middle Ages in this simulation of European society from 600–1300. In each of eight phases, players learn about different aspects of medieval life, becoming lords and ladies, monks, knights, crusaders, serfs, and craftspeople. For example, students illuminate passages from literature after becoming "brothers" in a monastery and map out a fief and manor after taking an oath of homage. Players: 20–35 students. Time: 10 hours or more.
