One of the most effective learning tools for students is allowing them to discover knowledge for themselves. This unit will take you and your students on an investigation with probability and statistics concepts. The unit supports and reinforces classroom instruction or can be used to introduce probability concepts before standardized testing. Self-selected projects are based on Bloom’s Taxonomy and integrate a variety of learning styles. Students will use their knowledge and skills to solve real-life problems while they build responsibility and independence to make choices and develop plans for the investigations and presentations.
