One side of each card shows the shape of a country or state (with the place name at the top of the card, making it easy to hide) and tells its area and population. The other side puts the name of the capital city at the top and shows the country or state unlabeled, but labels the neighboring countries or states. Both sides show the location (unlabeled) of the capital city. World and U.S.A. contain 50 cards each.
