DEVELOPMENTAL PSYCHOLOGY

Topics covered include prenatal development, fetal alcohol syndrome, the birth process, sensory abilities, motor development, emotional development, separation anxiety, Freud’s stages of development, adolescence, psychological reactions to growth, developmental problems, Erikson’s stages in the life span, Kohlberg’s theory of moral development, Piaget’s four stages of development, gender roles and stereotypes, aggression, nature vs. nurture.
