FUN PROJECTS FOR WORLD HISTORY
Projects include making masks, pots, animal figures, and other items used in civilizations of the past, with materials such as clay and posterboard. Writing assignments help students to create a character profile of someone who lived at the time, such as a warrior or physician—"character development statements" offer prompts for describing appearance, clothing, skills, etc. Scripts of "setting development statements" help students write about locations. Each book includes a CD-ROM that reproduces the full text and full-color illustrations, offers PDF documents on the culture, step-by-step project instructions with color photos, and supplemental artwork, imagery, and photographs.
