The fact that I’m in business and most specifically sales, would probably surprise many of my childhood friends. Frankly, considering how shy I was as a child, it surprises me some days too. I began my career selling commercial furniture and then applied those skills to my work at the American Red Cross Blood Services overseeing a large corporate partnership program. I later began selling allied health textbooks and then a very well respected anatomy and physiology online program.
It was then that I realized the importance that educators put on their relationships with their resource consultants. They look to us to provide solutions to their student’s needs and it’s really gratifying to be able to assist with those needs. Being with Social Studies School Service is a highlight of my educational sales journey – complete solutions, well-respected authors and brands and a company team dedicated to excellence.
