The seven approaches covered: evolutionary, biological, behavioral, cognitive, humanistic, psychodynamic, sociocultural. The presentation discusses the theories and experiments of (among others) the Freuds, James, Jung, Adler, Erikson, Maslow, Rogers, Ellis, Piaget, Pavlov, Skinner, Eysenck, Bandura, Kohlberg, Beck, Gardner, Milgram, Harlow, Asch, Sperry, Schachter, and Chomsky.
