CHILDREN OF SYRIA

As the children experience the siege of their home city of Aleppo, the tragic kidnapping of their father by ISIS, and the beginning of their new lives as refugees in Germany, the program adds a heartbreaking dimension to the civil war in Syria and the largest refugee crisis in modern history. At four, seven, ten, and 12 years old, the siblings offer an affecting look into the ways that the impact of war extends far beyond those who are fighting. Note: includes some disturbing images.
