SOCRATES AND CONFUCIUS

Primary sources are about ancient Greece and China. Some offer the words of Socrates as presented by Plato, and others are passages from the Analects of Confucius. The secondary sources each evaluate one of these men. Concluding exercises have students assess questions such as " Compare and contrast the idea of what being a teacher meant to Socrates and Confucius. In what ways were they alike in their approach? How did they differ?"
