This lengthy simulation leads students through the stages of national development—power build-up, war, and a peace conference which redraws the world's boundaries.
Initially students create their own nations, determine their governmental forms, and select their leadership. The countries’ power is developed through projects, and the points accumulated are used for attack and defense during war. When one nation emerges as a world power, it sponsors a peace conference which decides on the future world organization. The simulation kit includes 35 copies of a 24-page student book and a teacher’s guide which contains detailed procedure directions. Players: entire class. Time: 25 class periods.
